Court Raider Mid

The adidas Court Raider Mid is not a re-release of an ’80s or ’90s shoe, despite what your first impressions may be. The Court Raider gets its retro look with inspiration from other models in adidas’ rich basketball history. The silhouette resembles the Forum and Top Ten - both popular in the early 1980s - but with a bigger tongue and collar. The perforated vamp is also like those of the Forum and Top Ten, while the midsole and outsole were taken directly from the adidas Attitude, a style that debuted in 1986.

But the Court Raider also features some unique design elements. Mesh is incorporated into the throat, upper, and sides of tongue. The three stripes on the upper are layed over piecing that surrounds the mesh paneling on the upper. And the collar has extra perforated padding and plastic eyestay units.
