Sky Force High

The Summer of 2009 is bringing Bo Jackson back into the spotlight. This Sky Force High release which includes a "Tecmo Bo" on the tongue arrives shortly after the Air Trainer II LE (also with Tecmo Bo) and just before the Air Trainer SC (Bo's original shoe) has its retro release. Riffing further off the Tecmo Bo videogame are the pixels around the Swoosh and on a shimmering plastic band just below the collar. The Swoosh and lace eyelits are covered in metallic silver, and the white mid-sole contrasts with the mostly black upper and outsole.

Nike Auto Flight

The Auto Flight is a new shoe launch for 2009. The upper drafts off of the Flight Lite, anchored by a vulcanized sole. The clean black leather upper is set off nicely with the hot red hilights on the tongue, and peeking through on the collar and upper lining.

Air Hoop Structure

Running meets basketball in the Nike Air Hoop Structure, which is a hybrid of the Air Structure Triax ‘91 and a basketball shoe. There's no official word on what the second in the mix is, although it has qualities of the Jordan VI: the angle and height of the collar, the small cushion on the collar, the jagged/wavy lines of the midsole, the general silhouette.

Jordan VI Detroit Pistons Edition

The Pistons colorway is a recurring theme in Jordan “60+ Retros,” modeled after teams MJ dropped 60 points on during his career. The Pistons Retro VI has a black-based upper of suede and patent leather. Grey, red, and speckled blue combine to form the midsole which sits above a clear and red outsole that features the signature Jordan Jumpman logo in blue. Both the tongue and heel tab are gray with blue accents. The Jumpman logo is seen again on the tongue, in blue, and the heel, in red.

Jordan VI

The Retro VI’s contain all the technical design elements of the original, including the large tongue, a “spoiler” on the back of the collar, and visible air on the heel of the midsole. On this colorway, the upper is a simple combination of white leather and black suede while the outsole is partially translucent. The shoe also features some unique white speckles on the black midsole and spoiler.

Lebron VII Post Season

Unlike a lot of playoff make-ups, this isn’t simply a new color-up of the Air Max LeBron VII with a few post season details, it appears to be a completely new silhouette. The visible 360 Max Air unit has been replaced with a more subtle embedded unit. The upper still contains light-weight flywire support and patent piecing. A nice new touch is an always popular frosty outsole. The red-eyed lion near the heel on the medial side is more menacing than your usual LeBron lion.

Nike Air Griffey Max I

Originally released in 1996, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has a new retro version that is worn by Griffey this season. Made with a leather and synthetic leather upper, polyurethane midsole with full-length Air-Sole® unit and a non-marking, clear rubber sole with geometric traction design.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Dark Night

Many salivated over the Joker-inspired “chaos” make-ups of the Kobe IVs and Vs. With this in consideration, Nike has extended the Batman relation in the Kobe line and created the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Dark Knight.”

Colorwise, the Dark Knights utilize both lustrous and matte blacks as well as a luminous electric blue. The shoe lacks any snake print, which has been common among the IVs and Vs. It does, however, make use of the spotted laces that are used on the “chaos” colorway and other Kobe V color-ups.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Akron

LeBron’s contract is about to expire in a couple of months and we are really left wondering what he will decide to do with himself once it is really up. We could see him staying in Ohio, since he has a lot of ties there, like the University of Akron, which is exactly what these shoes are based on. We have previewed these sneakers before, but as we are now closer to the release date and have some more detailed images we thought that they were worth another look.

The shoes will feature a predominantly navy upper that is accented by a whole lot of gold trim and the Akron mascot logo is also featured on the inner achilles section of the shoe. As the third shoe from LeBron to make use of the Akron colorway, we might just have to say that this one is the best one yet.

Jordan Flight 9 Olympics

Every Winter Olympics, Brand Jordan participates by issuing shoes inspired and fitted for the occasion. A bunch of exclusive Jordan releases are being witnessed with each possessing exceptional color arrangement. For this year, the Jordan Flight 9 was chosen to be the tribute sneaker.

Dubbed as the “Olympics”, this particular Jordan Flight 9 has an upper which was made up of Black leather and on the tongue is a retroed Jumpman logo. The inner liner extends to the collar in bright Orange that commences the use of vivid colors on the midsole. With regards to this part, fragments of Black-speckled Blue, Neon Green, and Red including solid Yellow on the lower mid part create a good flashy look.

Continuing on the bottom portion is an association of Black and White being parts of the midsole, while the outsole is believed to be White.

Considering that this Jordan Flight 9 is an Olympics-inspired shoe, the brilliant colors mentioned above were the Olympics official colors. Thus, this sneaker is always recognized to be one of the participants for the 2010 Winter Olympics which currently takes place at Vancouver, Canada.

Cuttler Black Leather + Grey Canvas

Not everyone loves to wear leather shoes so most probably some will prefer the lighter material which is canvas. But for non-skater brand, Supra, both concerns were addressed with its latest and newer models of high top sneakers.

The Supra Cuttler which adopts more on Supra’s original designs comes in a delicate make-up. Leather and canvas pairs were both geared up with sophistication.

The Supra Cuttler Black Leather obviously comes in a traditional setup while featuring Red top lace holders, Black shoe laces, and White vulcanized rubber sole. On the other hand, the Grey Canvas version owns a monochromatic upper and sole match-up. Supra branding appears on both sneakers’ tongues on a vertical tab.
